Join the conversation

Incident investigation, safety culture, system design and technology are just some of the topics up for discussion at the Ergonomics & Human Factors 2023 conference. No matter what sector you work in, our presentations, workshops and keynotes will help you discover more about the latest research and ideas happening across our discipline. The outline programme for the conference is now available online, where you can also book your place to join us in person in Kenilworth from 25-26 April.

This year’s keynotes include Dr Mark Young discussing ‘Putting the human in human factors’ in the Broadbent Lecture. Professor Siri Wiig will examine adaptive capacity and resilience in healthcare and Mark Lowten is giving the Institute Lecture on human factors in complex project delivery.

As well as the presentations and papers, there’s also the chance to catch up in person with colleagues from around the world at a string of social activities. A drinks reception followed by our annual dinner will be held on the Tuesday evening, with a quiz and team challenge providing the fun on Monday.

This year also includes a pre-conference day where you can choose from a range of Masterclasses or take part in our popular annual Careers Day. To find out more, visit our dedicated conference page and discover how you can join us at the human factors event of the year.
