How will you be involved?

If you’ve got ideas or insight to share at our annual conference, then don’t miss your chance

to present your work at one of the biggest gatherings of ergonomics and human factors practitioners. Submissions for Ergonomics & Human Factors 2024 close on 1 December, so make sure you get your paper to us in time.

We want to hear about the research, practice, challenges and opportunities that showcase the positive impact ergonomics and human factors can make. Submitting is easy – download and complete our template and submit it online.

This year we’re only looking for short paper submissions that are no more than two pages long. Once they’ve been peer-reviewed, authors of accepted submissions will be invited to expand them into a longer paper. All the final submissions will be published in Contemporary Ergonomics & Human Factors 2024.

The 2024 conference will kick off with a day of Masterclasses showcasing a range of tools and techniques, as well as a Doctoral Consortium for PhD students and our annual Careers Day and Jobs Fair. Over the next two days there’ll be lectures, keynotes, panel sessions and poster presentations, covering a huge range of topics and sectors.

It’s also a great opportunity to catch up face-to-face with old and new friends and grow your network – and have fun at the conference dinner and other social events.
