Submissions are now open for a special edition of the Ergonomics journal marking the 75th anniversary of the CIEHF.

The Institute began life in 1949 as the Ergonomics Research Society, the first professional body of its kind in the world. Since then, it’s grown from strength to strength as the discipline has evolved to reflect the changing ways we live and work.

The anniversary journal will celebrate the past, present and future of human factors with articles reflecting past achievements as well as the predicted trends of tomorrow. If you want to shine a spotlight on any little-known historical work that deserves a wider audience or look back on major shifts in human factors, then this is the perfect place.

The journal is also keen to receive submissions for articles addressing current challenges, as well as ones that draw on the past to anticipate the future and what could lie ahead in the next 75 years.

The deadline for manuscripts is 31 December. You can find out more about the special edition and how to submit on the journal's web page.
