Time to get involved
IEA2027 will bring together 1,500 delegates from more than 50 countries around the world and there’s still time to share your work and ideas with them.
The congress, to be held at Excel London from 23-25 August, puts ergonomics and human factors centre stage, showcasing the rigorous science and thoughtful design that can improve the complex systems that shape modern life.
Submissions are open until 1 November for research papers, practitioner case studies, PhD research, workshops and panel discussions.
All human factors topics are welcome, and the congress will also have focus on three main themes:
- Beyond Automation – exploring the future of human work in the age of AI and robots.
- Inclusive by Design – using human factors to enable truly people-centred design.
- Navigating Complexity – understanding system interactions and performance impacts.
It’s easy to submit your work and full details are on the congress website. If you need more help, we recently ran a webinar on how to make a submission, what we’re looking for, using the submission app and what happens next, and you can watch the replay. There won’t be any extensions granted so please make sure you’re ready to submit by midnight on 1 November.
The Early Bird rates for tickets, which can save you money on one-, two- and three-day passes have been extended to 1 March to allow accepted authors to take advantage of the rates. Discounts are also available for global ergonomics society members, students and others.
