About the presenters

Dr Marcin Nazaruk is a Human Performance and Culture Leader at Baker Hughes and a Chairperson of the SPE Human Factors Technical Section. He’s held a number of senior leadership roles in the energy industry focused on the practical and scalable implementation of human performance strategies, tools, and solutions. Marcin helps the O&G industry reduce the risk of failure and human suffering while improving operational efficiency by utilising applied psychology operationalised for the front-line and leadership. Marcin has an applied PhD in human factors and a broad range of advanced qualifications in management (MBA), industrial psychology, systems thinking, culture change and behavioural science. The multi-disciplinary approach led to innovative but highly practical solutions that attracted multiple industry awards.
