Focus on UX

Find out about UX perspectives on healthcare, automotive and service design

About the event

User experience (UX) is concerned with how a user interacts with and experiences a product, system or service. As a discipline, it’s highly diverse, covering a broad spectrum of domains from leisure-oriented consumer products to highly regulated, safety-critical industries typically associated with human factors professionals.

In this free webinar, chaired by Tony Russell-Rose, we review some of that diversity, outline the unique challenges presented by each community, whilst also trying to identify the common perspectives and approaches that bind us together.

This presentation features talks from three such diverse perspectives:

  • ‘Strategies for embedding UX principles in healthcare’ by Charlotte Wu, Harness Health Global
  • A Preliminary Probe into Topics and Trends of Automotive UX Research by Peng Lu, Politecnico di Milano
  • An introduction to UX in service design by Clemence Debaig, Goldsmiths, University of London
