Cross-Sector Learning Circle Kick-Off Session

Many of the challenges we work with in ergonomics and human factors appear across multiple sectors. Whether in healthcare, transport, nuclear, defence, or other sectors, issues such as fatigue, workload, decision making, and safety culture are experienced in different ways but often share common roots. While these issues are often discussed within individual sectors, there are fewer opportunities to share experiences and learn directly from each other that may be facing similar challenges but in different contexts.

The Cross-Sector Learning Circle is a new initiative designed to bring people together to explore these shared challenges. In this kick off meeting, we will introduce this concept and outline what we hope to create.

This will be an interactive session, with participants invited to reflect on and discuss a series of broad questions about the challenges within their own sectors and how these could help shape future learning sessions.

If you are interested in understanding how different sectors approach similar challenges, please come along and be part of the conversation. Whether you have worked in one sector the whole of your career or multiple, your experience and perspective will help us begin building a community focused on shared learning across all sectors!
