CIEHF CEO talks people-centred design business strategy with The Times 

 

Carrying the human factors torch for people-centred design, CIEHF CEO Dr Noorzaman Rashid talked to The Times' 1 million+ readers this month about the challenges we face designing for society over the next 20 years.

Featured in the national newspaper's 'Product Design & Innovation' supplement, Noorzaman highlighted that human-centred design will become even more essential in a decade or two as neural systems and technologies advance exponentially to make autonomous cars and aeroplanes a reality.

“The challenge for designers is taking into consideration how humans will behave and interact with these vehicles and the robots that are being designed to provide company to the increasing house-bound ageing population" he said.

Noorzaman joined the director of product design at Facebook Messenger, top product design agencies and an expert from the Design Business Association,
